Fishermen from around the world flock here to reel in a salmon while taking in the sweeping views of Admiralty Inlet, Whidbey Island, and Puget Sound.
Hansville is located at the northernmost point of the Kitsap Peninsula, just north of the Port Gamble Indian Reservation.
While visiting Hansville, be sure to stop by the Point No Point Lighthouse, Buck Lake Park and the Nature Conservancy, located near Foul Weather Bluff -- one of the shortest and most rewarding hikes in North Kitsap. There you'll see Ospreys, Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons.
Built in 1879 to guide boats safely between Kitsap and Whidbey Island, the historic Point No Point Lighthouse was recently turned over to the county by the U.S. Coast Guard. Until 1992, it was one of the last staffed lighthouses on the Western seaboard.
